Dom Pérignon Vintage Plénitude 2 (P2)
Dom Pérignon Vintage Plénitude 2 (P2) It is a second awakening ,it’s a moment when time, patience, and cellar mastery align to reveal a deeper, more intense expression of a great vintage.
Dom Pérignon is always produced only in exceptional years and crafted exclusively from grapes of a single harvest.
What makes Plénitude 2 extraordinary is the decision to let the wine remain on its lees far beyond the classic release. After roughly 12 to 20 years of slow, controlled ageing in the cellars, the wine reaches a new stage of maturity and elevation.
At this second plenitude, the wine gains energy rather than softness, precision rather than fatigue. The texture becomes broader and more tactile, while the structure tightens with remarkable tension.
Aromas evolve toward candied citrus, dried stone fruit, toasted brioche, roasted nuts, honey, smoke, and deep mineral notes. On the palate, P2 is powerful yet exact, layered yet vibrant, finishing long with saline freshness and depth.
Each P2 reflects the personality of its vintage — whether the radiance of 2002, the generosity of 2004, or the darker, more complex profile of 2006 ,but all share the same philosophy:
Champagne as a living wine, shaped by time rather than rushed by release schedules.
Plénitude 2 is not designed for casual moments. It belongs to long tables, profound conversations, and dishes of equal precision ,shellfish, fine fish, white meats, truffle-accented cuisine, or simply silence and focus.
It is a Champagne to contemplate, not consume quickly.
In essence, Dom Pérignon P2 represents the house’s belief that greatness does not appear once, but can re-emerge, transformed, intensified, and more expressive when time is treated as an ingredient rather than an obstacle.
