Ktima Gerovassiliou has a diverse range of Greek and international grape varieties that are cultivated with meticulous care at the estate.
Among the Greek white varieties are Malagousia ,first vinified by Vangelis Gerovassiliou and Assyrtiko, originally from the island of Santorini.
The Greek red varieties include Limnio, an ancient grape mentioned by Aristophanes in the 5th century BC, as well as Mavroudi, Mavrotragano, and Xinomavro.
In addition, the estate cultivates several renowned French varieties, including the white grapes Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier, and the red varieties Syrah and Merlot.
At the same time, Ktima Gerovassiliou remains committed to continuous experimentation and research, exploring the cultivation potential of both indigenous Greek and international varieties to further refine its viticultural expression.
